Great beer and good German food

I have been a quiet and regular connoisseur of your beer specialties for about 4 years, which I recommend to every beer lover, but yesterday's experience with your service when returning a deposit will make me distance yourself in the future. I came to the return shortly before your “take-out” shop closed with two 1l crates and three 2l carafes. Because I took off the labels when cleaning the carafes because they had come loose in the dishwasher, the employee assumed that I was one of the customers who took the "in-house" carafes without a label after a restaurant visit. If the tone and the rather improvised reasoning had been appropriate, I would have waived the deposit without comment, but under no circumstances do I, as a customer, allow myself to be called a potential thief just because you had bad experiences with such people. Your products are great, but service like that is not possible. Not even if it is shortly before the end of opening hours. You can't let customers get away with everything, but times can always change. I don't have to buy your products and I won't buy them in the future either.

German food of medium quality and very friendly service. The beer is good, but relatively expensive. Some evenings with nice live music.

Excellent service and food

The food was very tasty. My mother wanted to take away the rest of the coleslaw that was left over from our currywurst. The coleslaw was only tipped in aluminum foil that was formed into a bag and not even in a container. Sorry 😡

This place is way better than many I've been to. Not only is the ambience stylish, the staff is very attentive and courteous, not to mention the delicious in-house beers and dishes. In summary, a 1a house which I would like to recommend at any time.

Always very crowded at the weekend and therefore really loud. No pub to talk to in peace there. The beers are brewed on site, which is actually great. The result is a matter of taste. Live music is unfortunately not my thing, but I am sure many people like it. You can definitely go there for a sociable evening.

Good atmosphere, nice service, average and extremely expensive food. I would try other restaurants first, as it was quite expensive for the fact that it wasn't that great and didn't taste incredibly fantastic.

I know the brewery from the eighties when I was still living in Hanover. When I visited Hanover later, I was drawn here from time to time. The memory of it (what we celebrated here!) Brings me to the 4 star rating. This time there were five of us here, the beer tasted good - as always, the hygiene concept was theoretically correct (even if some guests were too "cool" to adhere to it), the service was friendly and always ready, but the food ... and then at the price ... Let me put it this way: maybe the kitchen didn't have the best day and Corona makes work harder, so maybe it was just a slip up. But that shouldn't happen too often, because the competition is fierce.

It is impossible to put into words how bad the service is. We waited over an hour for the food, then a main course was missing from 10 people and after 15 minutes the salad came, loveless and with a short "sorry". When we wanted to pay, we waited another 20 minutes until we were told we would like to queue at the checkout. So unbelievable. Not to be recommended at all.

The restaurant convinces with a great ambience, both inside and outside. You don't get the normal German home cooking (which you would initially assume with the name) but also more unusual dishes. The restaurant is also ideal for vegetarians. The staff was very friendly and, above all, really attentive. The restaurant is ideal for a cozy dinner as well as for drinks with friends. Clear recommendation!

Me and my boyfriend was here for lunch today. We ordered 2 delicious Black Angus Burger and 2 Refreshing Pints of beer. 😋 Advice to come here and try by yourself!!!

The beer and the schnitzel were great. This is the second time I visited it and they still offered a good experience. I recommend it.

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food that is traditional German. However, there are also good salads on the menu. The food is well cooked and tastes good. The house beer is excellent and should be tried.

Was just the best place to spend an afternoon with friends

Worst Burger ever. They call it a Black Angus Burger. It is nothing but a poor quality of beef and has nothing to do with real Black Angus meat. A complete ripoff. Do you self a favor and find another place to eat and drink.

I was here about half a year ago. Back then everything was wonderful, food was delicious. The beer a pleasure. Today we are here too and despite fewer guests, I feel normal again. Despite the smaller menu, a nice selection of dishes that were also very tasty! Thank you for being here! I look forward to the next visit to the brewery 😍

I invited my mother for breakfast today and we really enjoyed it here. The service is very friendly, the breakfast is filling and since it is Rosenmontag today it was nicely decorated. The only drawback is that you have to pay your drink extra for breakfast.

Tasty dinner!

A good brewery with a very beautiful ambiance and stylish dining room and bar. The staff was gentle and clear with their indications, and still looked after us even if we went there just for drinks..which ended up in the curry wurst you can see in the picture. The food we tried was good and balanced, so was the beer. Not too strong not mild, and with a very nice flavour to it.
